Spring Cleaning Without a Spanking (it's not over yet)

I haven't posted in a few days because we're in full spring cleaning swing.  I'm on break...actually for the rest of the night.  Tequila drink in hand, I'll update.  Spring cleaning is an event I both look forward to and dread.  I look forward to it because I actually enjoy cleaning, I find it peaceful, (that is without interruptions like kids, dogs, or husbands).  And I like starting with a clean slate.  I dread it because it's too big of a job for me to do by myself, so I actually need my husband here with me (see previous parenthesis), not that I don't enjoy spending time with him.

For any one out there who believes Dd wives are doormats who never have a say and must always do as told, this post may (or may not) be for you.  You see, cleaning is my strength.  I flourish in this area of our lives, so my wonderful loving adoring sexy amazing husband (had to make up for previous parenthesis) had put me in charge of this one.  That's right, he must do as I say.  Except he's still HOH, so respect is still expected.

There's been no fighting, screaming, throwing things, stomping off in a fit of frustration this time though and here's why...he gave me permission to be in charge, I didn't take charge and I still must speak to him with respect.  In previous years, I am not careful with my words and tone, I just get frustrated and yell and stomp off.

But we're not done with spring cleaning, so there's still time for a spanking...

  1. Well baby i know that you are great in the cleaning section, that is why i let you some what be in charge. But dont go getting a big head that will just lead to a red butt! Well since you were talking about your great cleaning skills i am going to talk about how you try to shut me out or how you storm off at times. Well i would like to inform you that we will be trying the new toy out tonight. Yes, i know you are not sure about it but what else is a man suppost to do with a broken fishing pole! Well i will see you in our spot after we put the kids to bed.

  2. Oh Suzie...umm...may the force be with you?

If it makes you feel any better at all I'm waiting for mine to come home for maintenance. I'm feeling very sleepy all of as sudden...

    1. Lol, I'm not sure the sleepy excuse would work on my husband, I think he'd just wake me up.

  3. I think I could get overwhelmed just thinking about this! Can you come over and be in charge of my spring cleaning too? :)

    1. If I think about it in 1 large lump sum of a project, I do get overwhelmed, but I've learned the joys of lists and I break it down to smaller projects. I like crossing things off my lists.

As for the charging your spring cleaning, I would love to, though I may charge a small fee. I've actually often thought about getting into housecleaning, but I'm scared of what I'd find in other people's houses (like spanking implements ;)

    1. I'm sorry Ana, I know you don't like to clean and I sometimes feel bad about bragging about how much I like it because I know other people hate it, but to me it's similar to someone taking a walk to clear their head. I shut out the chaos of the world.
